Meet Our Expert Stony Brook Acupuncturists

Stephen attended Tri-State College of Acupuncture, NY and graduated with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture from New York College of Health Professions, Syosset, NY. Where he studied Traditional Chinese Medicine style acupuncture.

Looking to broaden his knowledge, Stephen went on to explore Japanese styles of acupuncture, receiving certification in Japanese style acupuncture through the Traditional Japanese Acupuncture Institute.

Stephen combines both ancient and modern acupuncture techniques in his treatments. Utilizing AcuGraph technology, he can scientifically show each patient how their energy is currently flowing through each of the 12 primary acupuncture channels. Where their energy is blocked, where it is flowing smoothly, where it is excess and where it is deficient. This personalized information allows the patient to clearly see how these flows might relate to both their current symptoms and how we can begin to balance them to create more vibrant health.

Stephen’s goal is not to merely chase symptoms, but to help each patient cultivate truly vibrant health and balance going forward.
